The Trellis Concierge service is available if you need assistance with Trellis installation. It includes up to 3 hours of dedicated support time with one of our Support Engineers. You’ll receive assistance with installation and configuration, plus a site speed audit of your site.
Before you purchase, we recommend that you start by doing a quick Plugin Self Audit, the Mediavine Way. We also suggest you look into our Site Speed Audit add-on to see if that meets your existing needs.
What is included with the Trellis Concierge Service?
We will audit your existing plugins and make recommendations (what should stay, what should go, what is redundant, what is not compatible).
We will install the Trellis core framework and, if applicable, a child theme, as well as any add-on plugins that we think will be beneficial for the performance of your site. Typically we only add Trellis optimization plugins that have been developed by Mediavine, and occasionally a simple caching solution if you don’t already have one.
We will configure the theme settings, activate the theme, and re-audit the site and its remaining plugins, making recommendations to further optimize the site.
What is not included with the Trellis Concierge Service?
This service does not include the migration of custom pages or theme templates from your current theme.
This service does not include custom child-theming, extensive custom CSS, or static page design or development. Existing static pages built with Gutenberg blocks should transfer just fine.
If you are currently using a custom theme or custom templates that are essential to your site, you might consider hiring a developer to assist with the migration to Trellis.
Do I need Concierge Service?
That depends! Self-installation of Trellis by Mediavine is actually really easy. We have a whole library of help articles that can walk you through all the details from basic installation to Critical CSS.
Keep in mind that sometimes there is a wait for Concierge appointments. If you need to make the switch to Trellis immediately after purchase, you should plan to install and set up the theme on your own. It is also an option to get the help of your designer or developer.
The cost of Trellis Concierge Service is $299.
This charge is not included in any licensing. You can purchase the Concierge Service in the Mediavine Marketplace.
Are there other options?
Yes! Our Site Speed Audit service is available for customers that don't require assistance with the actual installation or configuration of Trellis but would still like a Support Engineer to make recommendations for further optimization once Trellis is installed and active.

A Mediavine Support Engineer will audit your existing plugins, scripts and will make recommendations (what should stay, what should go, what is redundant, what is not compatible).
We will review your top ten posts and make recommendations to improve your lighthouse scores for pagespeed, accessibility, best practices, and SEO
What is not included with the Site Speed Audit Service?
This service does not include installation or configuration of Trellis Core or Trellis child themes
This service does not include custom child-theming, custom CSS, or static page design or development.
