The default behavior of the author link in Trellis is for it to link to your homepage URL. However, you can change the destination to a different page, such as to your About page, in just a few easy steps.
In your WordPress admin, navigate to Users > Profile in the sidebar menu.
2. Once there, scroll down to the Contact Info subheading, where you will find a field for Website. Add your desired URL for your author link into that field.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update Profile to save your changes.
4. You're done! Now your Author link will redirect to the page of your choosing.
