With Trellis 0.16.0, custom Google Fonts must localize to be used on your site due to security concerns based on recent EU decisions. The good news is, you’re still able to easily use Google Fonts on Trellis!

In the Trellis Display Settings, you can enter a custom Google font and click on the Save Font button:

If the font successfully localizes, you’ll see a success message and the font will be used on the site:

If the font fails to localize, you’ll see a notice explaining why it failed and what is causing the issue, and the font itself will not load onto the site:

If it fails, the font will revert to the previous font you had enabled or to a default web safe font.
